omaha-college-world-series-062409-xlgThere was great praise for the NCAA selection committee on their choices of the initial 64 teams.  They raved about their top 8 seeds.

But look what happened and what is left!  The only top 8 seeds left are #7, TCU; #6, LA-Lafayette; and, #3, Virginia!  So much for experts and their drooling over some teams!

The eight super regional hosts were announced Tuesday by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee. All times Eastern.

Let me see … who are MY final 8?  How about: Oklahoma State, Houston, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech,  TCU, LA-Lafayette, and Virginia!
