In the contest to see which school can draw most fans to a practice, Alabama wins again.

But Nebraska isn’t far behind in spring game attendance this year, with SB Nation compiling the numbers.

Here are the Top 10 draws:

1. Alabama 73,506

2. Penn State 72,000

3. Auburn 70,465

4. Tennessee 68,548

5. Nebraska 61,772

6. Ohio State 61,058

7. Georgia 46,073

8. Oklahoma 43,500

9. South Carolina 36,412

10. Florida State 36,000

*** The top 10 shouldn’t surprise. Penn State almost catching Alabama shouldn’t either with all the hoopla about new coach James Franklin. Some PSU fans are probably just now getting home from that scrimmage. Any Husker fan who has ever been on a trip there knows what I’m talking about.

*** Texas drew 30,000 to the first Spring Game under Charlie Strong. Hey, I understand. Sixth Street > football scrimmage.

*** The most interesting Big Ten attendance figure comes from a program not on this list. Michigan drew just 15,000 to its spring game. And the tickets were free.
