On the way home from Nebraska … I stopped at a place called Macadoodles in Pineville, AR.  The nice thing about this place is that you can make your own 6-pack.  So … this being October … well … you can guess what I selected for my Sunday evening pizza/brew times … a sampling of Oktoberfest beers.

The picture below shows my selections … reviews to follow … though following the group shot … I will write about one I drank while in Nebraska!

Now for the one I drank after a long day … a bottle of Git-R-Done!  Brewed in Pawnee City, NE … home town of Larry the Cable Guy … Schilling Bridge brews one great beer!  This is a combination micro-brewery / winery and looks like a place I might visit someday when back in Husker-land!

Git-R-Done is light golden in color, malt, and hops. The flavor is crisp, clean, and refreshing. This excellent golden lager has received rave reviews by all who have tried it … including yours truly.  Even without pizza … I sat and watched some late Sunday football … with chips and salsa … and was pleasantly surprised how good said suds went down!  When it was gone … someone asked … “How did it taste?” … and my reply was “It tastes like another!”  Git-R-Done!
