While life is pretty consistent and regular for me … for the most part … it does get rearranged from time-to-time.  The one that seems to have been messed with lately is my Sunday Night Pizza / Adult Beverage.  But … and there is always a but …

Tonight it will be back to “normal.”  A bacon cheeseburger pizza and a frosty brew.  Fortunately I have re-stocked thanks to  a few trips to Dallas.  And … there even lurks a “special” one.

The “special” is a home-brew made by a member.  It is in a larger than usual bottle. It even comes with a warning: “Don’t plan on going anywhere or doing anything after you drink this!”  The reason?  He puts bourbon in it as well!  I may need some friends to come and share this with me!

With that being said … I am going to the Real Ale sampler and try a Full Moon Pale Rye Ale.  From their website: Tawny red and full of malt and hops, Full Moon’s unique flavor truly satisfies.  The smooth sweetness of malted rye and barley is complemented by generous helpings of Willamette and Cascade hops, resulting in an assertive American amber ale.

My own assessment is that is a very “creamy” beer with a great head and hoppy smell.  I am more and more impressed with the Real Ale Brewery … this is good stuff!
